Our Housing Mobility Training Institute is designed for staff that are new to housing mobility, to build connections and skills that will equip and empower them to contribute to a successful mobility program. Offered annually, the Institute features instruction from program practitioners, participants, and landlord partners, as well as researchers and advocates. Trainees are invited to a community-building happy hour at a fun spot nearby from 5-6:30.

We are thrilled to be hosting our second Practitioner Gathering after the success of our 2024 event in Boston. We’ll bring together mobility practitioners from around the country to trade wisdom, collaborate, and build motivation and resilience to sustain their advancement of family choice and opportunity. The day will be split between facilitated peer activities and an advanced skills-based training session for staff that have attended the Training Institute. There will be a celebratory reception from 5-7 for attendees of the Practitioner Gathering and National Conference.

During the biennial conference, Mobility Works and PRRAC will feature presenters from the realms of research, policy, and practice to bring attendees up to date on developments in the field and spark discussions that will push the work forward. In bringing together advocates, practitioners, policymakers, program participants, and researchers, the conference fulfills a vital momentum-building role for the field of housing mobility. All Conference attendees are invited to the celebratory reception on 10/16 from 5-7.
