Gretchen Weismann (Consultant)
Gretchen focuses on policy design, program development and implementation, and research and evaluation of rental housing and supportive services models at the local, state and national level. She contributes to a variety of Mobility Works technical assistance projects. Other recent work includes the development and analysis of a large survey of Boston metro area HCV participants’ experience and location outcomes when searching for housing. Gretchen has worked for the Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy at Northeastern University, Abt Associates, Greater Boston Legal Services, The City of Boston, at The Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development managing the Moving to Work program and homeless initiatives, and with the Urban Institute on a multi-site mixed-method evaluation of the Moving to Opportunity Program. She has an MPA from Northeastern University and a Ph.D. in Planning and Urban Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
